Fair Deals is a classifieds marketplace for general goods, property, and automotive listings. For privacy questions, contact us through the Contact Us page (Instagram or Facebook when available).

Account information: email address, password (stored by our authentication provider), name, phone number, city, and optional address when you complete your profile.

Listing information: titles, descriptions, photos, prices, categories, location details you provide when posting an ad, and related metadata (for example view counts or premium status).

Usage and device data: pages you visit, search and filter choices, favorites, approximate location signals used to suggest a city (such as IP-based city or optional GPS when you allow it), and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

Communications: messages or details you send when contacting us on social channels, or when you interact with other users through features we provide.

Verification materials: if you submit ID or selfie images for account verification, we process those solely to review identity and marketplace trust.

Provide, maintain, and improve the marketplace (accounts, listings, search, favorites, and settings).

Authenticate you, reset passwords, and protect accounts against abuse or fraud.

Show relevant local results, including preferred city and approximate map areas that protect exact seller pins.

Communicate about your account, listings, or important service updates.

Comply with law and enforce our terms, including removing or restricting content or accounts when needed.

We may use IP-based city detection and, if you allow it, device location to set a preferred browsing city. Exact seller coordinates are not shown as a precise pin on listing maps; we use an approximate privacy circle instead.

You can change your city in the product experience. Turning off device location in your browser or OS stops further GPS-based updates from that device.

Public listings: information you choose to publish (such as ad content and seller contact details you reveal in-product) can be seen by other users.

Service providers: we use infrastructure and authentication partners (for example Supabase for auth and data) to host and operate Fair Deals. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, or to protect users, our platform, or the public from harm or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies and similar storage (including session cookies for sign-in) so you stay logged in, preferences can persist, and the site can function securely.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may break sign-in or other core features.

We keep account and listing data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records longer when required for legal, security, or dispute reasons, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed.

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and authenticated sessions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and keep your login details private.

You can update profile details in Settings, manage favorites, and edit or remove your listings where the product allows.

You may request account-related access or deletion by contacting us via the Contact Us page. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and some data may be retained where the law requires.

Fair Deals is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Our service providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Where we do so, we take steps designed to protect your information in line with this policy and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Fair Deals after an update means you accept the revised policy.
